Terms and Conditions for Rack-n-Roll

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Rack-n-Roll mobile application and related services ("the App"), operated by an individual developer ("we," "us," or "the developer"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the App. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the App complies with applicable laws.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose a security risk.

3. Use of the App

You agree not to:

• Use the App for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
• Submit false scores, impersonate others, or interfere with tournaments
• Attempt to access data or systems you are not authorized to use
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the App or its APIs
• Harass hosts, players, score editors, or other users

4. Tournaments and user content

• Hosts are responsible for how they run tournaments, including registration rules, scheduling, and dispute resolution at the event level.
• Players and score editors must enter scores and information honestly and in good faith.
• You retain ownership of content you submit, but you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process it to operate the App (for example, standings, exports, and roster display).
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of user-entered scores or third-party tournament outcomes.

5. Fair play

Rack-n-Roll is built for organized, fair competition. Cheating, deliberate score manipulation, or abuse of hosting or scoring privileges may result in removal from tournaments, account suspension, or termination.

6. Intellectual property

The App, its branding, and underlying software are owned by the developer or licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right to copy, modify, or distribute the App except as allowed by applicable law.

7. Third-party services

The App may rely on third-party hosting, database, email, or device services. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (USD $50), IF YOU USE A FREE VERSION OF THE APP.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights.

11. Changes and termination

• We may update these Terms by posting a new version at this URL and updating the "Last updated" date.
• Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
• You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the developer is located, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local consumer protections apply.
